Hello Airfox community!
It seems like every time the team puts together an update post, Boston gets slammed with another foot of snow! Aside from the crazy weather, the team in Boston and Brazil have managed to accomplish A LOT over the last few weeks. Our last Monthly Engineering Update, provided some great updates about the initial features of the Airfox App, the way Airtokens will be transferred from the old Airfox Browser to the new app, the difference between the Airfox dApp (decentralized AirToken app)and the Airfox Android app, and other tech-related updates.
Mobile World Congress
Katie, Christine, and Pablo flew out to Barcelona to announce the launch of Airfox’s app at MWC 2018. The app release was very well received by the event attendees, which included industry representatives and tech news outlets! The team spent the week completing interviews, networking with other companies, demoing the app at the Airfox booth, and listening to presentations from industry speakers.
App Launch Press Coverage

FitBank Integration
Airfox is happy to announce that we’ll be working with FitBank in Brazil! Airfox app users will now have the ability to perform a number of payment transactions right in the Airfox app! We will be releasing another article very soon that will dive deeper into the payment functionality Airfox will be bringing the users of the app. Stay tuned!

Airfox App available in the Google Play store
If you’d like to download and test the Airfox mobile app, you can download it from the Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the full functionality of the app will not be available unless you’re located in Brazil; however, we’d love to hear everyones suggestions on ways to make the app even better for our users.
