After a successful $15M ICO, AirFox is pleased to announce new members to the team in an attempt to ramp up operations, provide robust investor relations, and expand capabilities of the company.
As product marketing manager Katie Sedat is focused on driving user growth and engagement of the AirFox Browser in Brazil. She comes to Airfox with over a decade of experience marketing a wide-range of consumer products. Katie is a graduate of Emerson College, and most recently led user acquisition for the mCent app at Jana Mobile, building a user base of over 32 million. She has managed consumer marketing efforts throughout Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Javier Garcia has joined as a Senior Software and Blockchain Engineer. Prior to joining, he implemented solutions and provided consultancy services in a variety of countries including: Switzerland, Germany, USA, Brazil, UK and Spain. Clients included banks such as Pictet and Banco Santander, eCommerce leader SAP Hybris, and the aerospace giant EADS.
Pablo Bello will be joining the AirFox team as Head of Product. With an Engineering degree from MIT, he brings six years of product development and operations strategy experience in early and mid-stage start-ups. Pablo co-founded Rest Devices, a connected nursery startup, as well as DrinkIn, a vertically-integrated alcohol delivery venture. Prior to joining AirFox, he served as Director of Product Development at Walden, a Boston-based startup delivering a meat share program from local farms. Pablo has managed software teams in projects ranging from early-stage prototypes to established products.
Omeed Zarrin was brought onboard as Manager of Business Development. Omeed has spent the last 5 years working in the financial services industry where he was able to leverage his tech expertise to help teams to boost client-service efficiency and drive sales. He spent two years at Morgan Stanley working for a top-producing financial advisor in the Boston area. He then transitioned to the mutual fund sales team at MFS Investment Management where he was tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with financial advisors in the key New York City market.
Ralf Bamert will be joining AirFox as General Manager. With an MBA from ETH and a bachelor degree in engineering from NTB, he is familiar with working at the cross-section of business and technology. Ralf worked in many industries across the globe for SME’s and large multinationals alike. He held various roles in development, operations, support, project management, management consulting, sales and general management.
