Airfox wins Best Startup at CODE_n
The wait is over. Winners of the CODE_n startup competition have been announced!
At this week’s new.New Festival, Airfox shared our vision of narrowing the wealth gap between the rich and poor by tapping into the decentralized, secure nature of blockchain.
Our own Katie Sedat competed in a live, on-stage pitching competition against top startups using machine intelligence and cryptographic trust to pioneer digital transformation. The verdict? Airfox took home the grand prize and was awarded Best Overall Startup and Best Business Plan by the CODE_n panel of industry leaders.
This year’s competition started with over 300 international startups from 42 countries and after careful consideration, the top 50 finalists were selected to showcase their business concepts in Stuttgart, Germany. The festival was a fusion of unconventional and creative milestones in technology, a celebration of innovation that brings together entrepreneurs who relentlessly push the boundaries of digital transformation.
These awards reinforce our mission to provide critical financial services to the underserved in emerging markets. With traditional banks failing over four billion people globally, Airfox is empowering the unbanked using a combination of AI, blockchain, and mobile technologies.
