Don’t blink: There goes September
Did September fly by or is that just us? We have recently entered the fall months, and Airfox initiatives are soaring to new heights. With convenient new payment methods for our banQi app users, and new partnerships with impactful organizations in Brazil, September was another busy month for the Airfox team.
We introduced the banQi prepaid digital and physical card!
banQi users now can make payments with a physical or digital card directly connected to their banQi account! The digital card can be accessed with just the click of a button in the app, and the physical card can be ordered conveniently to a user’s door.
Users are now using the card to make online purchases for popular digital services like ride sharing, watching movies, and food delivery. Read what our users are saying here.
We welcomed two new executives to the team
Our newest executive hires based out of the São Paulo office add a competitive advantage to our growing team. Their expertise will guide strategic areas of the Airfox business model: credit and partnerships. You can read more about them here.
Our newest partnership accelerates financial inclusion in Brazil
Founded in 2015, Novos Lideres Empreendedores brings education opportunities to Brazilian entrepreneurs. The “New Leaders Organization” teaches basic business skills to interested students, and Airfox is proud to be the main sponsor of this year’s class. Read the details of the partnership here.
Boston and São Paulo got office upgrades!
Both of our previous Boston and São Paulo offices were getting too small for the growing teams, so in the month of September we moved! The new offices include more desk space and meeting rooms, promoting innovation and collaboration at all levels of Airfox problem-solving.
The co-op experience at Airfox
This month we introduced you to some of our current and past co-ops, or cooperative education students. These Northeastern undergraduates spend a semester’s length of time as full-time employees with companies of their choice to learn important, applicable skills in their areas of study.
