We need your support — please vote! Our Airfox co-founder and CEO Victor Santos is in the running to speak at South by Southwest 2020 (SXSW)! The Startups Track brings together founders and funders of all stages to talk about current best practices.
Community voting plays a major role in whether or not Victor is selected to share his story and expertise at SXSW. The PanelPicker platform empowers the community to have discussions and vote for the sessions they want to hear most. Please follow the steps below to vote for Victor!
How to vote
- Register your free account with SXSW
- After confirming your email, open Victor’s submission page on the SXSW PanelPicker page
- Click ‘Vote Up’ on the left side bar, and once it’s highlight yellow you’ve cast your vote! You can also share your thoughts on Victor’s proposal with the comment option.
If selected to participate in the SXSW conference, Victor will share his experience building a triple bottom-line social enterprise. As an undocumented immigrant and DACA recipient, Victor had to navigate immense bias in the venture capital community in his pursuit of greater global economic inclusion. His journey as a social entrepreneur has not been linear, but his mission has always remained on track — to bring financial inclusion to underserved populations around the world.
SXSW is an ideal place for Victor to introduce Airfox to other curious individuals who are brought together in a unique and innovative environment. The conference consists of a blend of music, art, technology, and culture, with 10 days of presentations, conversations, and celebrations. As a part of the PanelPicker session platform, the community has a chance to vote on Victor’s proposed topic. The audiences’ votes, combined with insights from the SXSW advisory board and staff members result in portions of the conference agenda directly representing what people want and ask to see.
